Over the past decades, the global solar industry has constantly been upping the potential value of photovoltaic industry chains and systems. Through the upgrading of silicon wafers, cells, module technology and manufacturing, the size of silicon wafers has increased from 125mm, 156.75mm, 166mm, 182mm to today's 210mm. This is an inevitable trend alongside increasing module power, reducing the costs of productions and power generation.</p>

On 25 November 2020, Trina Solar Limited Vertex S 400W+ series of ultra-high power compact&nbsp;modules successfully completed all necessary reliability tests and have obtained the IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certificates. Following the two certificates awarded to the Vertex 550W/600W in October 2020 relating to IEC 61215 photovoltaic modules performance standards and IEC 61730 photovoltaic modules safety standards, this is another milestone for Trinasolar's ultra-high power modules.</p>

Trina Solar Co., Ltd. (“Trina Solar” or the “Company”), a leading global PV and smart energy total solution provider, today announced the renewal of its global brand for tracker business, as well as integrate and upgrade its business system and channels, so as to make full use of and strengthen Trina Solar's brand influence and bring better service and more added value to global customers.</p>

Trina Solar announced that its cooperation with Tongwei Co., Ltd. has reached a new level. The cooperation involves three investments and a long term procurement cooperation framework agreement. Gao Jifan, Chairman of Trina Solar, said that the two leading companies focused on 210 products and cooperated to make the 210 industrial ecosystem stronger and bigger. Joint ventures and cooperation among strong players, who complements each other, have bigger advantages than simple vertical integrations within themselves.</p>

On November 15, 2020, Trina Solar Co., Ltd. and its 8 subsidiaries (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Trina Solar") and Changzhou Almaden Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Almaden") signed the procurement contract of photovoltaic glass.</p>

According to the contract, from November 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022, Trina Solar will purchase a total of 85 million square meters of photovoltaic glass from Almaden. The estimated total contract value is about 2.1 billion yuan (tax included).</p>

Trina Solar released its third-quarter reports for 2020, revealing that first-half momentum has held up, with revenues and profits both rising steadily. In the first three quarters, the company reported total realized income of RMB 19.93 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18.66%, with third-quarter realized income accounting for RMB 7.38 billion. Shareholders enjoyed a stake in realized net profits of RMB 832 million, a year-on-year increase of 118.94%.</p>

Recently, Trina Solar received the world's first IEC 62941:2019 certification for their photovoltaic module manufacturing quality system issued by TÜV Rheinland, which once again proves the company's excellent product quality and&nbsp;strict production standards.</p>
