Nera Kritis
Thebes, Greece
CommercialJust 50 kilometres outside of Athens lies Thiva, a city famed in Greek mythology and known throughout antiquity as Thebes. Today, the historic location embodies both cultural heritage and progressive ambition. It is against this backdrop that Aenaos Energy Systems and Nera Kritis—who bottle pure spring water from Lefka Ori, the white mountain range in Crete—partnered to launch a groundbreaking solar energy initiative powered by Trinasolar.
Completed in March 2024, this collaboration has established Greece’s largest industrial rooftop solar installation. With a capacity of 2.58 MWp powered by 4,490 Trinasolar 575W Vertex modules, the project is expected to generate 3,640,000 kWh of clean energy annually. It’s an initiative that supports local economic activities and underscores the companies' collective commitment to sustainable development, cutting CO2 emissions by approximately 3,861 tonnes per year.
This solar initiative in Thiva represents a milestone in renewable energy for Greece. At Trinasolar, we’re proud of partnerships like this, because each one of them takes us a step closer to achieving a cleaner, brighter future for all.
