Trina Solar Co., Ltd. (“Trina Solar” or “the company”), a global leader in smart solar energy solutions for a net-zero future, has stressed the importance of collaboration along the solar value chain to drive the energy transition in the EMEA region at BloombergNEF (BNEF) Summit 2023, which was held in London earlier this month.</p>

Speaking at the event, Gonzalo de la Viña, President of Trina Solar EMEA, said: “We must work together and scale up green energy deployment to achieve a net-zero future for the coming generations.”</p>

Trina Solar’s 210mm Vertex ultra-high power modules, including the Vertex N 700W and the Vertex 670W, are being used in a 2GW photovoltaic project in coal mine goafs in Ningxia, China. Once the station is connected to the grid it is forecast to save about 960,000 tons of standard coal and cut carbon dioxide emissions by about 2.62 million tons a year.</p>

The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China has honored Trina Solar with the title of Decarbonisation Leader for its achievements in low-carbon transition and climate change mitigation. The company received the award at the 2023 Sustainable Business Awards conference and ceremony in Shanghai on Sept 6. The award recognises Trina Solar’s exceptional decarbonisation performance at a business operations level and is a testament to its contribution to achieving the climate ambitions set out in the Paris Agreement of 2015.</p>

TrinaTracker, the leading smart solar tracking solutions provider which is part of Trina Solar Co Ltd (SHA: 688599), has signed a solar tracker supply agreement with Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA), to <strong>supply the Tepuy Solar PV Park in Colombia with 108MW of smart tracking system, including TrinaTracker’s pioneering Vanguard</strong>&nbsp;<strong>1P trackers, smart algorithms and Trina Smart Cloud platforms</strong>.</p>

Cumulative shipments of 210mm modules reached 150GW by the end of June, with Trina Solar accounting for half of that, the global market intelligence provider TrendForce says.</p>

Trina Solar showcased&nbsp;the solar industry’s new competitive edge at RE+ 2023 in Las Vegas: Vertex N and Vertex S+ with <em>n</em>-type i-TOPCon Advanced technology. The company also featured its suite of vertically integrated solution, including TrinaTracker, TrinaStorage and Trinahub. Particularly, the utility-scale battery system Trina Storage Elementa adopting TrinaCell is in the spotlight. &nbsp;</p>

Trina Solar has begun to supply Vertex N 700W+ series modules to the 560MW PV power station in Xinghai County, Qinghai province.&nbsp;The power station is expected to be commissioned by the end of this year, with average annual energy yield of about 1.077 billion kWh.</p>
