Trina Solar, a global leader in smart solar products and solutions, was honored to receive The Building Tomorrow Together Award from the Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC) at the first Tomorrow Fund Investor Breakfast of the year held in Texas in March.
Recognized as one of two honorees of the Building Tomorrow Together Award, Trina Solar was recognized for its role in advancing regional economic growth with its 1.35 million square foot solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing facility in Wilmer, Texas. The DRC event convened top business leaders and investors of the DRC’s Tomorrow Fund, dedicated to fostering a thriving business environment and economy in the Dallas region.

Trina Solar is investing more than $200 million in property and equipment and the PV manufacturing facility will provide over 1,500 local jobs. The facility is expected to be completed this year and will produce innovative large power output Vertex modules using the 210mm large size wafer.
