Inspired by the signing of the Kyoto Protocol in 1997, Trina Solar was founded that year with its headquarters in China’s Changzhou city, making it one of the world’s earliest photovoltaic (PV) companies.</p>

Trina Solar, the leading global PV and smart energy total solutions provider, has announced that its 210×210mm i-TOPCon cell has achieved maximum efficiency of 25.5%, setting a world record for the 23rd time.</p>

The New Technology Market Report published in February by PV InfoLink, a division of independent analysis agency InfoLink, provided detailed data on size, cell and module developments, along with projected future trends. The switch to large-format modules is irresistible from the perspective of industrial chain support, cost reduction, production capacity and market share, the report says.</p>

Trina Solar was Australia’s number one brand of solar module last year, in terms of market share, according to data compiled by Sunwiz, an independent Australian market research company that specialises in data and analysis of the Australian solar market.</p>

According to the recent Sunwiz’s report, <em>Australian PV Panel MarketView,</em>&nbsp;Trina Solar ranked number one in 2021 with market share of 14 percent.</p>

With the launch of its 670W+ ultra-high-power modules in March 2021, Trina Solar led the industry into the 600W+ era and unleashed the full value of 210mm technology, bringing with it a sharp boost in PV efficiency and a decrease in LCOE. Cumulative global shipments of Trina Solar’s 210mm modules now exceed 16GW.</p>
