Trina Solar Co. Ltd (Trina Solar), the world leading PV and smart energy total solutions provider, and SUMEC Complete Equipment and Engineering Co., Ltd. (SUMEC Engineering) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) where the two have agreed to strengthen their level of co-operation in Southeast Asian markets.</p>

<a href="/en-apac/http://www.trendforce.com/">TrendForce</a>, the independent new energy research agency, forecasts that capacity for 210mm products will reach 57% in 2023. The penetration of <a href="/en-apac/http://www.dgfurong168.com/en-apac/product">600W+ high-power modules</a> is clearly accelerating, setting a distinct direction for both the industry chain and market.</p>

As 2022 drew to a close, Trina Solar’s 210mm n-type i-TOPCon cells rolled off the production line in its 8GW factory in Suqian, Jiangsu province. These n-type cells will be used to produce the new generation Vertex N modules, with power output up to 605W and efficiency reaching 22.4%. Full-scale production will guarantee delivery while improving all-round competitiveness and creating greater value for customers.</p>

Trina Solar has maintained its AAA status for the third consecutive quarter in the PV ModuleTech bankability rankings released by PV Tech for Q4 2022.</p>

The company’s continued presence within the highest category validates its ongoing high performance level in manufacturing capacity, technology innovation, product shipments and financial status and underlines its position as an industry leader in each of these areas.</p>

Gao Jifan, chairman of the global PV and smart energy solutions provider Trina Solar, has used his appearance at the BloombergNEF Summit in Shanghai to tell his global peers about the way in which he sees the industry heading.</p>

In a panel discussion at the conference, which was held from November 29 to 30, Gao talked of n-type technology trend, the high value of 210 mm n-type i-TOPCon solar cells and modules, the value of the industry chain and ecology, and the ways in which Chinese PV manufacturers can remain competitive.</p>
