Trina Solar, a global leader in smart solar energy solutions for a net-zero future, and Aquila Clean Energy EMEA, Aquila Group’s clean energy development platform in Europe, have signed a framework agreement for the supply of 800MW of photovoltaic modules for part of Aquila Clean Energy's portfolio in Southern Europe.</p>

TÜV Rheinland has published its offshore photovoltaic test report, and Trina Solar, a trendsetter in the global photovoltaics industry, has set yet another milestone, receiving certification from this independent third-party for its highly reliable Vertex modules fully passed tests.</p>

The new generation of rectangular silicon wafers represents a significant technological direction for the industry, offering increased module power, optimized container utilization, and reduced system costs. In order to address the challenges posed by the variations in dimensions of rectangular silicon wafer modules, which impede the supply chain, result in material wastage, and create application difficulties in customer system designs, it is imperative to promote the standardization of these module dimensions.</p>

Trina Solar, a leading global PV and smart energy total solution provider, is pleased to announce its successful delivery of 800MW of 210mm Vertex modules to China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) for the prestigious Al Dhafra PV Power Plant project. The 2GW Al Dhafra solar PV plant, located in Abu Dhabi, is set to become one of the largest single-site solar power plants worldwide. The plant has connected to grid in April.</p>

RETC, a leading independent test laboratory for photovoltaic and renewable energy products, recently issued its Extended Reliability Test Report, and it showed that Trina Solar’s Vertex N module passed its thresher test, demonstrating excellent performance.</p>

As the demand continues to shift towards renewable energy powering European nations, and the grid networks continue to grapple under that pressure, the importance of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) has never been as pertinent as it is now. The rise in demand is, consequently, seeing differing approaches to supply in industry which only heightens the risk of integrative success, given the inherent complexity of supply chain management of BESS projects.</p>

Trina Solar has announced the certification of its Yiwu manufacturing facility as a Zero Carbon Factory. This is the first factory in the PV industry to be awarded zero carbon status by an independent agency. </p>

PV Evolution Labs (PVEL), the world-renowned third-party reliability testing laboratory, has published its 2023 PV Module Reliability Scorecard, and Trina Solar has once again been recognized as a Top Performer among global PV module manufacturers for the outstanding performance of its Vertex N modules, especially the Vertex N 605W module. It is the ninth year in a row that Trina Solar has won this accolade, a feat unparalleled by any other company.</p>
