On August 30<sup>th</sup>, experts from Wood Mackenzie, Underwriters Laboratories (UL), RETC and Trina Solar, conducted an in-depth discussion about the bankability and high reliability of Trina Solar’s 210 Vertex Ultra-high-power modules and the application of 600W+ globally. The discussion was made in the online webinar themed <em>Analyzing The Key Bankability Indicators of Ultra-high-power</em>, co-organized by Wood Mackenzie, UL and Trina Solar.</p>

Shipments of photovoltaic modules by Trina Solar (688599.SH) totaled 18.05GW in the first half of this year, 72% more than in the corresponding period last year, meaning the company continues to rank second worldwide in solar module shipments, the company’s half-yearly report published on August 25 said. In the six months Trina Solar's revenue amounted to RMB 35.73 billion.</p>

On August 24, Trina Solar announced that its proprietary Vertex high-efficiency <em>n</em>-type monocrystalline silicon module, based on 66 pcs of 210 mm x 210 mm high-efficiency <em>n</em>-type i-TOPCon cells, has achieved a record aperture module efficiency of 24.24% for industrial large-area <em>n</em>-type i-TOPCon modules. This is independently confirmed by TÜV Nord.</p>

A 200MW PV power project in the city of Zhangye, Gansu province, China, is now in operation, using Trina Solar’s <strong>210mm Vertex 670W modules</strong> to turn desert areas including the Gobi into fertile areas for growing the next generation of green energy.</p>

In August 2021, Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, announced the official commencement of operation of the country's first PV power station, the Nur Navoi Solar Power Project. The 100MW power station uses ultra-high-power bifacial modules and TrinaTracker’s Vanguard 2P tracker system. It is located in the Kizil-Tepe District of Navoi State. It is Uzbekistan's first surface power station and the first Independent Power Plant (IPP) to obtain financing.</p>
